Construction has begun on the $250m Riverside Tower on Parramatta's riverfront precinct. Early works on the landmark project include the excavation of 7 basement levels.
The project adds the slew of works that will reinvent the city, including the $2b Parramatta Square development and the $300m Western Sydney Stadium.
Riverside precinct is a venture between Parramatta City Council, property and private equity firm LIDIS, project manager EQ projects and venue managers Dockside.

The project is due for completion in 2019 and will boast 413 residential apartments in a 44-storey tower, a state-of-the-art cultural, exhibition/conference space, an entertainment hub and the city's largest ballroom space.
The 2,500m² entertainment facility will be managed by Dockside and contribute an estimated $25M to the local economy annually.
