UGL Limited has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract – valued at $133 million – by Foresight Solar Australia for works on a solar project in Victoria.
The company was awarded a three-year contract to design and build Stage One of the 110MW Bannerton Solar Park which is located near Robinvale. UGL will also be providing operation and maintenance (O&M) services to the solar park for a two-year period once it is operational.
For this project, UGL will undertake the engineering, procurement and construction of Stage One which includes associated substation and Powercor Australia grid connection.
Works are expected to begin in late 2017 and is projected to start generating power from July 2018.
