TSRC Update: preliminary construction underway

Sophia Rostron   |   February 29, 2016

Straight from Nexus Infrastructure, we deliver the latest construction update from the TSRC project.

February 2016 saw preliminary construction activities get underway. These activities include:

  • geotechnical investigations for structures, which are expected to be completed by late March
  • geotechnical investigations for the viaduct area at Spring Bluff
  • potholing to identify underground services
  • fencing works including boundary fencing along sections of the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing (TSRC) corridor.

Major works on the project will commence in coming months, subject to weather and construction conditions.

During the three year design and construction phase, Nexus is committed to sourcing local suppliers and subcontractors from the greater Toowoomba region.
