SRG Global has secured a $90 million multi-disciplinary asset services contract from Alcoa of Australia following the announcement in December 2019 that the company was named as the preferred tenderer.
“We are very pleased to have now executed this contract. This is a very significant contract award for SRG Global in our Asset Services division and showcases our ability to deliver multi-disciplinary integrated solutions for tier one customers. We look forward to building a long-term partnership with Alcoa to deliver value-engineered maintenance and access services that drives value for their operations,” SRG Global managing Director David Macgeorge said.
The five-year contract will get SRG Global to undertake heavy mechanical and electrical maintenance as well as specialist rope access and scaffold services at Alcoa’s Kwinana Alumina Refinery in Western Australia.
Mobilisation on site is well advanced and works are expected to commence in February 2020.
The Kwinana Alumina Refinery is located within the Kwinana industrial Area, approximately 22 kilometres south of Perth.
