Lendlease has awarded Southern Cross Electrical Engineering (SCEE) a new subcontract valued at approximately $30 million.
SCEE’s scope of works under the new subcontract will include managing the electrical component of theRAAF Base Tindal airfield facilities upgrade, located 320-kilometres south east of Darwin.
Once completed, the upgrade works on the airfield will be able to support the new air combat capability that the Australian Defence Force has acquired.
“The award of this significant package of defence works is another important milestone in SCEE’s continuing diversification into a broader range of sectors and geographies,” said SCEE Managing Director Graeme Dunn.
