NRW Holdings has been awarded work at Rio Tinto's Yandicoogina iron ore mine operations in the Pilbara.
Kym Hyman, NRW Holdings Company Secretary, said the company was pleased to announce the award of the contract.
"Australian civil and mining contractor NRW Holdings Limited [has won] a contract by Rio Tinto, worth approximately $40 million, for bulk earthworks and civil works required to sustain its Yandicoogina mine operations in the Pilbara, Western Australia."
"The contract is expected to be completed in Q1 2018. NRW will utilise its existing civil construction fleet for the project."

Rio Tinto's Pilbara operations include an integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four independent port terminals, a 1,700 kilometre rail network, and related infrastructure.
