Mercy Health, in partnership with the State Department of Health and Services, has awarded Multiplex the contract to deliver Stage 1C of the $85 million Werribee Mercy Hospital redevelopment – located on the corner of Princes Highway and Hoppers Lane in Victoria.
The project involves replacing a few components of the façade from Stage 1A of the development. The project will involve adding a four level extension comprising of six operating theatres, 64 bed in-patient unit which will include eight critical care beds as well as a new central sterile supply department.
Stage 1C will also include a new stand-alone multi-level car park as well as extension and refurbishment works which will improve the existing loading dock and kitchen. The hospital road access system will be realigned and expanded as well, with a new fire truck access to be constructed.

The project is expecting to support up to 300 jobs during construction.
Multiplex has already commenced construction on Stage 1C, with the entire Stage 1 of the project to be completed by mid-2018.

The $85 million Bussell Highway Duplication project is a step closer to becoming a reality as tenders are now called for the delivery of Stage 1 of the project that will travelling in Western Australia’s south-west region safer and easier.
John Holland has been awarded the contract to deliver the $100 million Mercedes Benz Brisbane Autohaus on the site of the old Breakfast Creek Wharf in Newstead.
Funding has been secured from the Australian Government to jump start construction on the first and second stages of the $85 million Bussell Highway Duplication project in Western Australia.
