Laing O’Rourke is the confirmed Managing Contractor for another key expansion at Brisbane Airport. The $73 million Northern Concourse Expansion will deliver two new gates, Gates 73 and 74, to the airport’s International Terminal Building which will increase the capacity of the terminal as well as accommodate larger aircrafts such as the Airbus A380.

“While preparatory works have been underway for a number of weeks, this week’s official contract signing with BAC (Brisbane Airport Corporation) on such a significant upgrade for the precinct and the travelling public,” said Laing O’Rourke Region Director Pat Cashin.
Works are expected to begin in September 2016 and completion by late 2017.
