John Holland has recently been awarded the contract for the Lismore Base Hospital Stage 3B Main Works Redevelopment on behalf of Health Infrastructure NSW, with work commencing shortly. In a statement on LinkedIn, the company announced the contract win and said "since August 2016, we have been completing an early works contract and will transition immediately into delivery of the [3B] main works. The project is currently scheduled for completion in early 2020."

The Lismore Base Hospital redevelopments include two new hospital towers that will help to meet the increasing patient demand for local health services.
Stage 3A - also delivered by John Holland - involved construction a new 12-storey southern tower at the front of the hospital, which also included a new helipad at the top. The $80.25m project was jointly funded by the NSW and Australian Governments – $20 million from the NSW Government and $60.25 million from the Commonwealth’s Health and Hospital Fund.
