The $689 million Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) Redevelopment project has taken another step forward with the announcement of four more tenders for construction works.

The calls for tenders was made under the Hodgman Liberal Government’s Buy Local Policy which prioritises the participation of local Tasmanian businesses and tradesmen.

The four new tenders opened include works such as external glazing and aluminium louvres, temporary scaffolding, structural steelwork and external cladding.

The project’s Managing Contractor, John Holland Fairbrother Joint Venture, previously awarded contracts worth $7.1 million to three Tasmanian companiesHazell Bros Group Pty Ltd, Howrah Plumbing Pty Ltd and Macquarie Builders Pty Ltd – for works on the State’s largest construction project.
