Decmil wins $13m contract for works on South Flank development in Pilbara

Decmil Group has been awarded a $13 million early stage contract for works on BHP Billiton’s South Flank iron ore project in the Pilbara.

Scope of works under Decmil’s contract includes civil as well as enabling works at the Mulla Mulla village – which is being expanded to support operations at the Mining Area C and the South Flank development.

Works on the South Flank iron ore project located 130-kilometres north west of Newman is expected to begin shortly.

“The Company currently has project teams at a number of major WA Iron Ore projects and this contract adds to Decmil’s almost 40 years of experience as a contractor to the sector and a long relationship with BHP’s Iron Ore division,” Decmil said in a statement.
