Construction on the Coffs Harbour Hospital expansion in New South Wales is set to begin in April 2019, with CPB Contractors appointed by the State Government to deliver the main works for the project. CPB Contractors was awarded a $116 million contract for this project.
“The Coffs Harbour Hospital Expansion project builds on CPB Contractors’ recent successful construction of Sydney’s Northern beaches Hospital and our ongoing work at Nepean Hospital.
“We’re committed to working closely with NSW Health Infrastructure to ensure the safe and timely delivery of this important project,” CPB Contractors Managing Director Juan Santamaria said.
The main works of the expansion will include:
Construction of a new five storey clinical services building with a rooftop helicopter landing site, Intensive Care Unit and surgical, maternity and paediatric inpatient units
New connections to the existing hospital building at ground and first floor levels
Refurbishment of parts of the existing hospital building
Associated external works
The Coffs Harbour Hospital Expansion is a $194 million project and works are expected to be completed by 2021.
