CPB Contractors, with its Alliance partners Georgiou Group, WA Limestone, GHD, AECOM and BG&E, has been appointed to deliver three new projects for Main Roads Western Australia. These three new projects – with a combined value of $276 million – are part of the renegotiated Roe 8 contract.
“The new projects are significant in that they will enhance Perth’s road network operations in the northern, eastern and southern suburbs of Perth, as well as create important opportunities for the participation of local workers and businesses,” said CPB Contractors Managing Director Roman Garrido.

The Alliance will also be collaboratively managing the rehabilitation of the Roe 8 site in Coolbellup.
Construction will commence on the Murdoch Drive connection – the first of the three projects – immediately, with works on the Wanneroo Road and Armdale Road dual carriageway upgrades expected to begin within the 2017-18 financial year.

An agreement between the Australian and Western Australian Governments has been reached for a $2.3 billion road and rail infrastructure package for the State.
Work is about to commence on the $540 million Roe 8 highway extension project in Western Australia. The State Government has announced that they are finalising the contract to build Roe 8 which will be awarded to a consortium led by CIMIC Group.
The $50 million Wanneroo Road and Joondalup Drive intersection upgrade in Western Australia has marked a major milestone, with the contract to deliver the project awarded to CIMIC Group member CPB Contractors.
