Construction works are on the horizon for WA's $207m Karratha Health Campus, with the successful tenderer for the project, Joint Venture Cooper & Oxley and Brookfield Multiplex, due to commence work in mid-2016.
The consutrction works are expected to cost around $90m and follows LandCorp's preliminary earthworks that were undertaken in 2014-15.
What's even more exciting, is that PlantMiner's platform connected the procurement team of the project with trusted suppliers in the area, resulting in one PlantMiner supplier winning a $170K job for site amenities and office set-ups.
Expect to see site amenities going up very soon, and equipment rolling around like dozers, cranes, excavators, forklifts, graders, jack hammers, loaders and more!

The Health Campus will replace Nickol Bay Hospital and will support health facilities in Roebourne, Tom Price, Onslow and Paraburdoo.

As the 2016 year gets well under way, the city of Perth is gearing up for full swing on some of their biggest development projects yet. This means that some major improvements are going to be under way for Perth, which is not to mention the construction contracts, equipment hire companies and contracting jobs that are going to be available.
Construction company John Holland has signed the contract to deliver the new $300m Calvary Adelaide Hospital in partnership with development company Commercial & General.
