Underground mining company Barminco has been awarded a $393 million contract to provide mining services at Regis Resources Limited’s Duketon Operations in Western Australia.
The three-year alliance contract – which commenced on 1st April 2024 – includes underground development, production and support services for the Duketon Gold Project, including the Rosemont and Garden well underground mines.

This award adds Australian based underground earnings to our portfolio, which is aligned with the ongoing delivery of our strategy,” Perenti (Barminco’s parent company) Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mark Norwell said.

Regis Resources’ Duketon Gold Project is located in the North Eastern Goldfields, about 130 kilometres north of Laverton.
The mining operation consists of three centres, namely the Moolart Well Gold Mine and its surrounding satellite open pits, the Garden Well Mine and surrounding satellite open pits as well as the Rosemont open pit and underground mine.

Mining contractor Barminco has secured a contract from Regis Resources for underground mining services at the Rosemont Underground operations - which is part of the Duketon Gold Project located approximately 130 kilometres north of Laverton in Western Australia.
Regis Resources is progressing towards the development of the McPhillamys Gold Project in New South Wales, with the submission of the project’s state significant development application (SSDA) and environmental impact statement (EIS) to the State Department of Planning and Industry (DPI).
The New South Wales Independent Planning Commission (IPC) has approved the development of Regis Resources’ McPhillamys Gold Project.
